E. Revere Mogle 


    SNOW CAMP — Mr. E. Revere Mogle , 95, of 8262 N.C. 87 South, Snow Camp, died at his residence on Wednesday, January 23, 2008.
    A native of Clearfield County, Pa., he was the son of Enoch C. Mogle  and Stella Solley Mogle , both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. He was the owner and operator of Mogle’s  Bicycle Center in Burlington for over 35 years. He was one of the first Master Beekeepers in the State of North Carolina and a member of the N.C. Beekeepers Association. He was a charter member and former president of the Eli Whitney Ruritan Club. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church.
    He is survived by his daughter, Edie Mogle  and Fred Parton of Raleigh.
    He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Edith Guthrie Mogle ; and his son, Everett Guthrie Mogle .
    The funeral will be conducted at Concord United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. David King. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Friday from 6 until 8 p.m.
