Mrs. Evelyn Gerringer
McLEANSVILLE — Mrs. Evelyn Chrisman Gerringer, 77, of 5411 Eastcrest Road, died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
A native of Randolph County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Houston R. Gerringer and the daughter of Mr. J.A. Chrisman and Mrs. Amanda Allred Chrisman, both deceased.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Mr. Curtis R. Gerringer and Mr. A. Gerringer of Mount Holly; two sisters, Ms. Montea Axom and Ms. Victorine Bunton, both of Greensboro; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Pleasan United Methodist Church, by the Rev. James Allred, pastor, and the Rev. James Auman, assistant pastor.
Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.
The family will be at Bartlett Funeral Home in Gibsonville from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home.
