Agnes Clapp Fogleman
BURLINGTON — Agnes Clapp Fogleman, 86, of Alamance, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home in Burlington on November 7, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Myrtle Clapp and was married to the late Bobby G. Fogleman for 43 years.
Survivors include one brother, Floyd Clapp, Jr. (Shirley) and one sister, Lucy Wagoner (John); two sons Roger Fogleman (Martha) and Jeff Fogleman (Sharon); two granddaughters, Stacy Smith (Josh) and Christine Wells; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Agnes loved to bake pies and cakes for her family, friends and church functions.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Brick Reformed Church where Agnes was a lifelong member. Officiating will be the Rev. Geoff LaLone. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 – 3:00 PM prior to the service. Other times they will be at the home of Jeff and Sharon Fogleman at 3051 Beaver Creek Road, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brick Reformed Church, 3699 Brick Church Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance – Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
