Obituary Online notes for Henry Calvin BROWN
Henry C. Brown, 80, of 5431 Timbermill Road, McLeansville, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

At his request, a cremation will be performed by Forbis and Dick Funeral Service, with a memorial service to take place 11 a.m. on Friday, April 4, at South Elm Street Baptist Church, where he was a member, with the Reverend Lawrence Clapp officiating.

Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Fidelity Realty/Mortgage Investment in 1990.

He was born to William and Nellie Cobb Brown on March 24, 1928, in McLeansville, and resided in McLeansville his entire life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Brown; two brothers, Daniel and Charlie as well as his sister, Dorothy Rainey.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Brown; daughter, Patsy Brown (both of the home); as well as daughter, Sandi Lennon and husband, Tim; two grandchildren, Casey and Tim Lennon, II of McLeansville. Also surviving, sister-in-law, Alice Prevatte of South Carolina.
