WHITSETT — Mr. Allen Norwood Fuller, 60, of 1337 Village Road, Lot 137, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, at his home after five years of failing health and a critical illness of one week.
A native of Guilford County, he was the husband of Mrs. Lois Whitesell Fuller, who survives, and the son of Mrs. Juanita Norwood Fuller who survives, and the late Mr. Charles William Fuller. He was retired after 22 years with Cone Mills Transportation in Greensboro, and was a member of Brightwood Christian Church.
Survivors other than his wife of the home and his mother of Greensboro include one daughter, Mrs. Robin Showerman of Burlington; one son, Mr. Robert Allen Fuller of Burlington; and four grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Delton Agnor, pastor of Brightwood Christian Church. Burial will be in Gibsonville City Cemetery.
The family will be at Lowe Funeral Home from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home.
