GIBSONVILLE — Mrs. Blanche Lovelace Setzer, 79, of 5728 NC Hwy. 87 North, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Guilford County, she was daughter of the late Louie Howard and Fannie Durham Lovelace and wife of Jules Archie Setzer who survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Archie Setzer of the home; daughter, Ms. Glenda S. Conklin of Burlington; son, Terry Neal Setzer and wife, Janet, of Arapahoe, NC; grandson, Dylan Setzer and wife, Annette; great-grandson, Jeron Lennon Setzer; brothers, John Henry Lovelace of Reidsville and Junior Gerringer of Gibsonville; sister, Geynell Madren of Gibsonville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Leon Setzer; brothers, Clarence Oliver Lovelace, Carl Raymond Lovelace, Roy Edward Lovelace and Jack Willard Lovelace.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at Friendship Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Cook, and the Rev. Frank Gribble. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. Mrs. Setzer will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening, and at other times at the home.
