Joyce Thelma Viers

BURLINGTON - Joyce Thelma Viers, 82, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years declining health.

A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of Felix Anderson and Sallie Willie Barts Anderson, both deceased.
Joyce worked in Quality Control for Ametek in Graham and was a member of Hopedale Christian Church and in later years attended Riverdale Baptist Church. She enjoyed line dancing, working in her yard and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Viers is survived by two children, Joyce Ella Parker of Burlington and James Wesley Robinson of the home; four grandchildren, Christina Gail Robbins, Andrea Marie Moore, Michael Clayton Robinson and Kelly Nicole Church; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Phylis Elaine Renolds, Reidsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Clayton Robinson, who passed at birth and four sisters.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Graham.
The funeral will be Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow in McCray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
