Rachel Anderson Lamb Pegg, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Sally Barts Anderson and wife of the late Ronald Lamb and Robert Eugene Pegg.
She was retired from Lawrence Hose and a member of Trollingwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include 2 sisters, Joyce Viers of Burlington and Phyllis Elaine Reynolds of Reidsville and brothers-in-law, George Todd and John Somers. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands and 3 sisters, Kay Todd, Helen Somers and Charlotte Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Bill Easter. Interment will follow in Mc-Cray Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Pegg will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 5-7pm Thursday and at other times the home of her sister, Joyce Viers; 1257 Haw River- Hopedale Rd., Burlington.
