HAW RIVER — Mrs. Brenda Kay Todd, 67, of 2444 Iris Drive, Haw River, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2014, while at the Hospice Home.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of George Todd, who survives, and daughter of Felix Anderson and Sally Barts Anderson, both deceased. She was formerly employed with Ametek Corporation for over 20 years and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Feleasha Todd of the home; sons, Ronald Shawn Stokes and Michael David Stokes and fiancé Ashley of Graham; one grandchild, Tyler Stokes; and three sisters, Joyce Viers of Burlington, Rachel Pegg and husband Eugene, of Haw River and Phyllis Reynolds, of Reidsville.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Somers and Charlotte Anderson.
The funeral service will be conducted at Salem United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 1:00 PM by the Rev. Cindy Lister. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Monday, May 12, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. Other times the family will be at the residence.
