    FAIRBURN, Ga. — Mrs. Addie Belle Gerringer Shoffner, 97, of 178 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, died Feb. 26, 2009.

    GRAHAM — Mrs. Addie Belle Gerringer Shoffner, 97, formerly of White Street, Graham, died at the Fairburn Health Care Center on Thursday, February 26, 2009.
    A native of Davidson County, she was the wife of the late Arthur Flake Shoffner and the daughter of Japheth F. Gerringer and Lelar Ward Gerringer, both deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham where she was a member of the Doris Crissman Sunday School Class and the Young at Heart Senior Citizens.
    Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Faye Shoffner Barnwell, and husband, Charles H., of Fayetteville, Ga.; a granddaughter, Adrienne Barnwell Rice, and husband, Trey, of Graham; and a sister, Mrs. Ianthia LaMarr, and husband, Jack, of McLeansville.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Lou Hensley and Margaret Gerringer; and two brothers, Cleo Gerringer and Adrian Gerringer.
    The funeral service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Graham on Sunday, March 1, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. by Dr. Kenneth Hall. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery.
    The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church of Graham on Sunday from 2 until 2:45 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence, 701 White Street, Graham.
    Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Graham, Young at Heart Fund, 303 North Main Street, Graham, N.C. 27253 or to Hospice Advantage, 101 Yorktown Drive, Fayetteville, Ga., 30214.
    Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham is in charge of arrangements.
