Faye Shoffner Barnwell
ELON — Mrs. Faye Shoffner Barnwell, 66, died at her residence Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Charles H. Barnwell, who survives, and the daughter of Arthur Flake Shoffner and Addie Belle Gerringer Shoffner, both deceased. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham.
In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a daughter, Adrienne Barnwell Rice and husband Trey of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl D. Shoffner.
The funeral service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Graham on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Kevin Baker. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of the daughter, Adrienne Rice, 822 Isley School Road, Burlington, NC.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or the Alzheimers Association, Team Faith, 4615 Dundas Drive, Suite 103, Greensboro, NC 27407.
