SNOW CAMP — Mr. William Albert Braxton Jr., 65, of 4343 Greenhill Road, died at 12:18 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at the Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Evelyn McBane Braxton, who survives, and the son of William Albert Braxton Sr. and Mary Irene Braxton, both deceased. He was retired from Duke Power Co., a former U.S. Army Reserve member and a member of the Chatham Friends Meeting. Survivors other than his wife of the home include a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Sharon) Owens of Snow Camp; one son, Kent (Donna) Braxton of Greensboro; a sister, Mrs. Shelia B. Majors of Graham; and grandchildren, Alexis Owens and Chase Owens. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at Chatham Friends Meeting by the Rev. Beth Zuehlke. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the home.
