Mary Delania Stout McBane 


    GRAHAM — Mary Delania Stout McBane  of 4343 Greenhill Road, Snow Camp, died Friday, September 28, 2007, at her residence.
    She was born on September 5, 1914, to the late Burnal and Nora (Doak) Stout  of Kokomo, Indiana. She was the wife of the late Allen Reece McBane . She attended Chatham Friends Meeting, where she was the oldest member. She was a member of the Sunday school class #5 and a member of the United Society of Friends Women.
    Survivors include sons, Scott McBane  and wife, Linda, Floyd McBane  and wife, Gean, Charles McBane  and wife, Martha, and Dewey McBane  and wife, Lydia, all of Snow Camp, John McBane  and wife Johnnie, of Haw River and James McBane  of Elon; daughters, Mary  Catherine M. Myers of Graham, Evelyn M. Braxton of Snow Camp and Treva M. Newlin and husband, Leonidas of Snow Camp; a brother, Lewis Stout  and wife, Jean, of Kokomo, Indiana; sisters, Ruthanna S. Black of California, Ethel Mae S. Peoples of Wisconsin and Lelia S. Reed and husband, John, of Windfall, Indiana; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-stepgrandchild.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Marie McBane ; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers.
    The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Service in Graham from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and at other times at the residence.
    The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chatham Friends Meeting in Snow Camp.
    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chatham Friends Meeting.
