Obituary Online notes for Melba Ann WYRICK
Melba Ann Wyrick Hicks, 87, of McLeansville, went to be with her Lord and Savior and loving husband, Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late H. O. and Mamie Wyrick and wife of the late Silas Rex Hicks. She was a member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church and the Couples for Christ Sunday School Class. She was a caregiver for her grandchildren and other children in the community with a special ministry caring for the sick. She was a very loving wife, mother, mawmaw and Christian example to all those around her.
Survivors include her three daughters, one son, 12 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brothers, J.B. Wyrick and Charles A. Wyrick.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, February 15, 2016 in Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. Dave Johnson and Rev. C. Allen Myers, III. Interment will follow in Apple's Chapel Cemetery.
