GREENSBORO — Gilbert Eugene Conner , 57, of 512 Farragut St., died Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at Wesley Long Community Hospital.
A native of San Francisco, Calif., he was the son of the late Henry F. and Thelma Osterode Conner . He was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in Vietnam, and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a sister, Betty Hopkins of Wilmington; and brothers, David Conner of Eugene, Ore. and Doug Conner of Germany. The funeral service will be held at a later date.
