Charlie Junior Underwood
Charlie Junior Underwood, 88, of 7306 Middlestream Road, passed away on July 6, 2018 at his home.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Hope River Church with Rev. Larry Pope officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church.
Charlie was a son of the late John Wesley Underwood and Gertrude Apple Underwood. He worked many years with Cone Mills and was a produce farmer.
He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Gray Hawkins Underwood and all his siblings.
He is survived by his sons, John Underwood, Timothy Underwood and wife, Wendy; grandchildren, Justin Patterson (Mandy), Justin Vail and Jamie Pearl Underwood.
The family would like to thank the caregivers, Lillie and Cindy and the Advance Home Care nurses.
