BURLINGTON – Mrs. Violet Wagoner Brame, 71, of 453 NC 87 North, Burlington died at the Hospice Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 2:10 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of James Albert “Bob” Wagoner and Christine Arlene Cook Wagoner, both deceased.
She was a hairstylist and a member of Glencoe Baptist Church.
Survivors include her fiancé, David Farlow; daughter, Melanie B. Hamby of Elkin; grandson, Justin Daniel Wade Hamby of Greensboro; four siblings, Brenda Brown and husband Dwight of Bear Creek, Danny Wagoner of Whitsett, Ronnie Wagoner of Burlington and Chris Wagoner and wife Wadene of Graham; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Carden and brother, Jimmy Wagoner.
The family will receive friends at the Glencoe Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. til 2:15 p.m.
The funeral service will follow at Glencoe Baptist Church on Saturday at 2:30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Darrell Massey.
Burial will follow the service in Alamance Memorial Park.
Other times the family will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for the care and support given to Mrs. Brame.
