GIBSONVILLE — Carole Huffman Cox, 59, of 400 Steele St., passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. She was the daughter of Joel Huffman Sr., who survives, and the late Nora Kathryn Sawyer Huffman Braden.
She was a native of Guilford County, and had worked in accounting. Carole spent most of her life in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Survivors include her son, Michael Cox of San Clemente, Calif.; her father, Joel Huffman of Gibsonville; a sister, Cheryl Walker and her husband, John, of Gibsonville; a brother, Joel "Jay" Huffman Jr. and his wife, Peggy, of Davie, Fla.; a stepfather, Verne S. "Skip" Braden of Tennessee; a niece, Janna Smith and her husband, Randall; a nephew, Timothy Walker; greatnieces, Ella Smith, Erin Walker and Kristin Walker.
The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
