 BURLINGTON — Mrs. Joan McIntyre Jordan, 84, of the Village at Brookwood, died at Edgewood Place on Sunday, April 19, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.
 
 A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Joseph Howard Mc-Intyre and Annie Gerringer McIntyre, both deceased.
 
 She was a former employee of Western Electric and her dad’s business, Auto Parts and Electric. She was an avid Tar Heel fan and a fan of any team her children and grandchildren were playing on. Joan was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church.
 
 Survivors include her daughter, Pam Jordan James and husband John of Fort Worth, Texas, Freddie Jordan and wife Cindy of Gibsonville and Amy Jordan Hodge and husband Jeff of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Katy Tomlinson and husband Geoff of Fort Worth, Texas, Caroline Tabor and husband Matt of Fort Worth, Texas, Stephanie Jordan of Raleigh, Bo Jordan and wife Bethany Ann of Burlington, Hayden Hodge, Garret Hodge and Jordan Hodge, all of Burlington; two great-grandchildren, Landry Tabor of Fort Worth, Texas and Mallory Tomlinson of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Jim McIntyre and wife Julie of Pinehurst, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
 
 She was preceded in death by a former spouse, Buddy Jordan; daughter, Hope Jordan; grandson, Johnny James; and a brother, Ronnie McIntyre.
 
 A graveside service will be conducted in Alamance Memorial Park on Friday, April 24, 2015, at 12:30 p.m. Joan may be viewed at Rich and Thompson prior to the graveside service. At other times the family will receive friends and family at Joan’s house.
 
 Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Attention: Memorials and Honors, P.O. Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038 or to the American Heart Association, Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
 
 The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, staff and friends at The Village at Brookwood and Hospice and Palliative Care Center.
