Mrs. Annie Gerringer McIntyre
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Annie Gerringer McIntyre, 91, of White Oak Manor, died at 2:05 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2001, at her home after two years of failing health, one week critical. She was a former resident of 905 Central Ave. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Joe H. McIntyre and the daughter of Mr. Peter Milton Gerringer and Mrs. Matilda Winn Gerringer, both deceased. She was a member of Davis Street United Methodist Church and the Ollie Moser Circle. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joan M. Jordan of Burlington; two sons, Mr. Ronald Douglas McIntyre of Burlington and Col. James Howard McIntyre, retired U.S. Air Force, Dallas; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Larry Milton McIntyre; three brothers, Mr. Clyde Gerringer, Mr. Howard Gerringer and Mr. Ira Gerringer; and a great-grandson. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Davis Street United Methodist Church by Dr. Michael Hobbs. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will be at Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening and at other times at the home of the daughter, 905 Central Ave., Burlington.
