    GIBSONVILLE — Mr. Clyde Lee Mitchell II, 47, of 1241 Springwood Ave., died Thursday
January 30, 2003, at his home following a year of failing health.
    A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Teresa Wall Mitchell and the son of
the late Clyde l. and Mary Underwood Mitchell. He was a member of Brightwood Christian
Church where he served as an usher, President of the Berean Sunday school Class and
sang in the choir. He was employed by General Electric for 23 years and enjoyed fishing,
riding motorcycles and spending time with his family at Badin Lake.
    Survivors include his wife of the home; daughters, Heather Danielle Mitchell and Courtney
Nicole Mitchell, both of Gibsonville; son, Clyde Lee Mitchell III of Gibsonville; sisters, Norma
Clapp and her husband Billy of Liberty, Joyce Fogleman and her husband Arthur of Liberty,
Barbara Winchester of Burlington; brother, Robert D. Mitchell and his wife Rose of
Gibsonville, in-laws, Bruce and Joanne Wall of McLeansville; sisters-in-law, Tracie Wall of
McLeansville, Sheila Wall Foster and her husband Keith of Elon; 6 nieces; 7 nephews; 5
greatnieces, 2 great-nephews; special friends Jerry , Wanda, Jerry II and Jeffery Small of
Burlington.
    The funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2003 at Brightwood Christian
Church by Rev. Gary Robertson and Rev. Don Lyerly. Interment will follow in Alamance
Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and
Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home.
