Mr. Jerry Banks Chrisco Sr.
GRAHAM — Mr. Jerry Banks “Benny Hill” Chrisco Sr., 59, of 307 Eastway Lane, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Durham after three years of failing health, three months critical. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Phylis Bragg Chrisco, who survives, and the son of Mr. James Clay Chrisco and Mrs. Bessie Mae Cates Chrisco, both deceased. He was
formerly employed with Burlington Industries and was a Baptist. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors other than his wife of the home include two daughters, Ms. Kathy Chrisco of Burlington and Ms. Christina Lowe of Graham; a son, Mr. Jerry Banks Chrisco Jr. of Hopedale; a sister, Ms. Sylvia Kay Adams of Haw River; a brother, Mr. James Larry Chrisco of Burlington; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. David L. Chrisco.The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Don Swinney. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 7 to 9 Saturday evening and at othertimes at the home of the daughter, Ms. Kathy Chrisco, 3279 Bellmont-Mt. Hermon Road, Burlington.
