BURLINGTON - Mrs. Bessie Cates Chrisco, 71, of 1828 Wood Ave. died Jan. 26, 1993, at Skilled Nursing Division of Alamance Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at McClure Funeral Home. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.
A native of Graham, she was retired from Olympic Narrow Fabrics and was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sylvia Kay Conley of Graham; sons, James Larry Chrisco of Burlington, Jerry Banks Chrisco of Graham, David Lee Chrisco of Altamahaw; stepdaughter, Mrs. Janice Irby of Gretna, Va.; brothers, Ted Smith Cates of Richmond, Va., Johnny Cates of Burlington; sisters, Mrs. Reba Lou Mills of Burlington, Mrs. Hattie Marie Harmon of Winston-Salem; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 tonight, other times at the residence of a son, James Larry Chrisco, 1827 Wood Ave.
