The Rev. D. Susan Moore

ELON — The Rev. D. Susan Moore, 56, of 6757 David Moore Road, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at her home after several years of declining health. She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late George Howard Moore and Lois Frazier Moore, who survives.

She grew up in Camp Springs United Methodist Church and was a member of the N.C. Conference of the United Methodist Church. She was a United Methodist minister serving the majority of her ministry at New Hope-Pearly United Methodist Church in Blanche.

She is survived by her mother of the home, sister and brother-in-law, Deborah M. and Craig Murray of Burlington, aunts, uncles, many cousins and many friends.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Camp Springs United Methodist Church by the Rev. Renee Burnette and Tim Ross.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service. Memorials may be made to Camp Springs U.M.C., 9168 Cherry Grove Road, Reidsville, N.C. 27320.3, The Rev. D. Susan Moore
