BURLINGTON - Mrs. Lois Frazier Moore, 95, formerly of David Moore Road, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014, at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.
A native of Rockingham County, she was the daughter of the late Willie Andrew and Ruth Emma Terrell Frazier and wife of the late George Howard Moore who died in 1981.
She was a member of Camp Springs United Methodist Church and had formerly worked at Glen Raven Mills and K&W Cafeteria. She was a devoted wife and mother, enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and nurturing her family and extended family
Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Murray and husband Craig of Burlington; stepgranddaughter, Jennifer Murray Stanfield and husband Tim; great-stepgrandchildren, T.J. and Nicholas Stanfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, the Rev. D. Susan Moore; brothers, William T. Frazier, Lawrence Frazier and David W. Frazier; sisters, Frances Ross, Edna Carter, Nancy Koski and Ruth Jones.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014, at Camp Springs United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stewart Crank. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Moore will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday.
The family would like to thank Hospice and the staff of PHH, especially Corey Duncan and staff of "A" hall for all of their care and support in Mama's final days.
