Franklin Clay “F.C.” McPherson
SNOW CAMP — Mr. Franklin Clay “F.C.” McPherson, 90, died at Liberty Commons on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Ethel Sutton McPherson and the son of Henry Clay McPherson and Essie Williams McPherson, both deceased. He was a retired farmer and a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Frankie M. Brown and husband James of Snow Camp; four grandchildren, Eric McPherson, Brooke
M. Taylor, Detria B. Blount and Clay Brown; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Clinton Eric McPherson; granddaughter, Jenee’ Brown; and two sisters, Wilma M. Thompson and Alene M. Faulkner.
The funeral service will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Henry Swanzey and the Rev. Al Horne with the family receiving friends from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times they will be at the home of the grandson, Eric McPherson, 7329 Beale Road, Snow Camp, NC.
