WINSTON-SALEM — Mrs. Mary Virginia Aldridge Paschal, 80, of Winston-Salem, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2001, at Meadowbrook Terrace of Davie in Advance.
Born May 22, 1921 in Caswell County, to Jesse Rowe and Martha Frances Ziglar Aldridge. Mrs. Paschal was a charter member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church where she was a Sunday school teacher of the junior class.
Surviving are her husband, John L. Paschal Jr. of the home; three sons, John M. Paschal and wife, Teresa of Cary, Jesse A. Paschal of Matthews, and Anthony L. Paschal and wife, Zeny of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Martha P. Young and husband, Rick of Winston-Salem; a brother, James L. Aldridge and wife Ruth, of Kernersville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 7 to 9 this evening.
