George Wayne Barber
BURLINGTON — George Wayne Barber , 53, of 7266 Ludgate Road, Elon, died Sunday, December 26 at 12:52 a.m. at Alamance Regional Medical Center. He had several years of declining health, with one month critical.
Born in Guilford County, Mr. Barber was a former employee of Annedeen Hosiery. He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church. He was the son of the late George Alfred Barber and Lois Clark Barber , who survives.
Survivors include his mother, of the home, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rev. Larry Jones of Belmont Baptist Church will conduct the funeral on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Rich and Thompson Chapel, Burlington. Burial will follow at Friedens Lutheran Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, 2004. At other times they will be at the residence.

BURLINGTON — George Wayne Barber , 53, of 7266 Ludgate Road, Elon, died at 12:52 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of declining health, and one month serious.
Born in Guilford County, he was a former employee of Annedeen Hosiery and was a member of Frieden’s Lutheran Church
Survivors include his mother, Lois Clark Barber of the home; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Alfred Barber .
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Larry Janey, pastor of Belmont Baptist Church. Burial will be in Frieden’s Lutheran Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
