Obituary Online notes for Albert Clay TURNER Sr.
Per NC Census and Death Record, Albert was the son of Mary Holland and Hannibal Turner. He married Annie Waynick about 1907 and they had four known children.

His obituary in the Greensboro Record, July 9, 1955, provides that he died unexpectedly overnight at his home. He was a native of Virginia and had lived in Greensboro the last 40 years. He operated the A.C. Turner Sign Company in in the city.

Survivors listed were his wife, the former Annie Myrtle Waynick, three sons, E.V. Turner and E.C. Turner, both of Greensboro, and W.T. Turner of Dunn; one daughter, Mrs. Howard Barbee of Greensboro; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Nell Brown of Greensboro and Mrs. Rose Davis of High Point.
