BURLINGTON — Mrs. Erma Miles Madren, 90, of 2474 Carl Madren Road, died at 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Alamance HealthCare Center after two months of declining health.
A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late Carl Lee Madren, and the daughter of the late Robert Miles and Ida Saunders Miles. She was a member of Concord Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Alice M. Reavis and her husband, Bob, of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Minnie M. Simmons; and two brothers, Allen Miles and Charlie Miles.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Concord Christian Church by the Rev. Keith Murray.
Burial will be in Concord Christian Church Cemetery, Caswell County.
The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5 to 7 this evening, and at other times at the residence of the daughter, Alice Reavis, 2709 Woodbury Drive, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
