Alice Madren Reavis

August 8, 1936 ~ December 24, 2021 (age 85)

Alice Madren Reavis, 85, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, December 24, 2021 at ARMC.  She was a native of Alamance County and the daughter of the late Carl Lee and Sarah Erma Miles Madren, and was the wife of the late Robert James Reavis, Jr. who died in 2011.
Alice was a faithful member of Piedmont Presbyterian Church for many years.  She worked in the administrative office at Kayser-Roth Hosiery before going back to school to become a Elementary teacher.  Alice was an avid reader and loved history, she even wrote often about her family history.  She was known for being witty and kind.
She is survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Reavis, Jr. and her parents; Carl and Sarah Madren.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:45 prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home.
