Frances Overman Busick
 
 WHITSETT — Frances Overman Busick, 93, formerly of Whitsett and the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields, passed away at the Hospice Home on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012.
 
 A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of 63 years to the late Deuel Monroe Busick Sr., and the daughter of the late Charles William and Mamie Boone Overman. She was raised by her maternal uncle and aunt, the late Russell and Elizabeth Boone Apple. She was a member of Apple’s Chapel Christian Church. She was a homemaker who found enjoyment in baking and decorating cakes.
 
 Survivors include daughters, Delinda Farrell and husband Tommy of Mebane and Kelly Faucette and husband Robert of Burlington; son, DeuelMonroe“Monty”Busick Jr. and wife Ann of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Holly Almond and husband Mark, Heather Farrell and fiancé Brian Fahey, Michael Busick and Rob Busick and wife Mary Susan; and great-granddaughters, Faith and Hope Almond. She is also survived by sistersin-law, Betty Overman, Ann Oliver, Virginia Smithey, and Mona Busick; and brother-inlaw Leo Busick.
 
 She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Cheek, Ethel Overman, Edna Overman, Marjorie Overman and Lahoma Clapp; and brothers, Clyde Overman, Clifton Overman and Douglas Overman.
 
 The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich and Thompson
 
Chapel in Burlington on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. C. Allen Myers III and Dr. Dace A. Lewis Jr., with the family receiving friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
 
 The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields and the Hospice Home for their loving and compassionate care.
 
 Memorials may be made to Apple’s Chapel Christian Church, 7345 Hwy. 61 North, Gibsonville, NC 27249, or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
