    ENDICOTT, N.Y. — Kenneth James Tatko, 47, of Endicott, died unexpectedly Monday, February 1, 2010.
    He was predeceased by an infant son, Jackson; his father, Henry; and a brother, Stephen.
    He is survived by his wife, Karen “Kaye” Tatko; one stepson, Collin Teter; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Angela and Kenny Roberson; two stepgrandchildren, Caleb and Camden; his mother, Doris Tatko; and one sister, Karen Bayer; four nephews, Aric, Dustin, Jamie and Tyler; two nieces, Amy and Lisa; and special buddy, “Black Cat.”
    He was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School and Elon College. Ken was a gifted athlete, playing with the NFL Dallas Cowboys. Ken was a very loving and caring “Gentle Giant” and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott and at 10 a.m. from Most Holy Rosary Church, Maine where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endicott.
