James F. “Jim” Cameron

Mr. James F. “Jim” Cameron, 66, of Burlington, died Friday, September 1, at his home.
A native of Alamance County, Mr. Cameron was the husband of Carol Blanchard Cameron, and the son of the late James F. Cameron and the late Marie Skenes Cameron.

Mr. Cameron retired from GKN in Roxboro where he was Facilities Manager. Mr. Cameron was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Graham.
Mr. Cameron was very active volunteer at Clover Garden School, where he served as liaison for various construction projects. Mr. Cameron enjoyed coaching various sports at the school and he was known as “The Pizza Man”.

In addition to his wife, Carol, of the home, Mr. Cameron is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Cameron Rheaume, and her husband, MSgt John Rheaume, of Dayton, Ohio, Leah Cameron of the home and Leslie Littlejohn of Burlington; two sons, Bryan Cameron and his fiancée, Jamie Kelley, of Burlington and Lucas Cameron of the home; four grandchildren, Caden Rheaume, Gabriel Rheaume, Sarah Cameron and Christian Littlejohn; five sisters, Carolyn Moore and her husband, Randy, of Mebane, Doris Clark of Graham, Kaye Tatko of Graham, Yvonne Parrish and her husband, Tommy, of Rocky Top, TN and Becky Ivey of Burlington; two brothers, Bobby Cameron of Forest City and Stephen “Morti” Cameron and his wife, Cindy, of St. Louis, MO. Mr. Cameron is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews and his Clover Garden family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cameron was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Tickle.

The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington, Tuesday evening, September 5, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
