Darrell Tilton Riley

MEBANE - Darrell Tilton Riley, 78, of Mebane passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.

Darrell was born February 24, 1939 in Alamance County to the late Tilton Riley and the late Ethel Stout Petty. He was a retired supervisor at A.O. Smith and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Janice Andrews Riley of the home.

His daughters and grandchildren, Kim Dodson and husband L.T. and their children, Chris Dodson and his wife Katie and Caroline Sefner and her husband Daniel. Tracey VanSchaick and her husband Tim and their children Brandon, Brooke and Jadon VanSchaick. Tara Jernigan and husband Jay and their children Connor and Lila Jernigan. Great grandchildren, Jathon Stewart, Caleb Dodson, Simon Dodson, Adam Dodson, Kiley Sefner, and Ben Dodson. Brother, Charles Riley, and niece Diane Riley and her husband Dale.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church in Graham. Officiating will be Pastor David Jackson and Pastor Chris Dodson.

The burial will follow at Hawfields Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday evening.

Other times they will be at the home of Tara and Jay Jernigan, 2643 White Oak Dr., Burlington, NC.
