Mr. Robert Oscar Wilkins  Jr.
    BURLINGTON — Mr. Robert Oscar Wilkins  Jr., 84, of 2229 Delaney Drive, died Monday, July 25, 2005 at the Village at Brookwood.
    A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Mrs. Florence Davis "Flo" Wilkins , who survives, and the son of the late Robert Oscar Wilkins  Sr. and Jessie Gilliam Wilkins . He was a selfemployed machine designer, and was a member of Burlington Assembly of God.
    Survivors other than his wife of the home include sons, Dick Wilkins  of Thessalonica, Greece, Jim Wilkins  of Troy, Mich., and the Rev. Ted Wilkins  of Haw River; a stepdaughter, Lynn Burns Ward of Saxapahaw; a stepson, William Lee Burns of Greensboro; five grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and seven great-stepgrandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecilia Carden Wilkins ; and a stepson, Richard E. Burns.
    A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2005 at Burlington Assembly of God by the Rev. Howard Thompson and the Rev. Ted Wilkins . Burial will be in Union Ridge United Church of Christ cemetery.
    The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
    Memorials may be made to the Caring Kitchen, c/o Burlington Assembly of God, 821 Tucker St., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
