Mrs. Grace Page Boswell

BURLINGTON — Mrs. Grace Page Boswell, 85, of 4722 Union Ridge Road, died on Tuesday, October 29, 2002, at White Oak Manor. She was a native of Caswell County and the daughter of the late Robert and Lillie Stadler Page. Mrs. Boswell just celebrated over 67 years of marriage to her husband, G. Elbridge Boswell. Mrs. Boswell retired from Willis Coroon Reinsurers as an executive secretary. She was a member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church, where she formerly taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir. She served for 25 years as the church secretary and was very active in the Women’s Missionary Union. Mrs. Boswell was a graduate of Burlington Business College.

Survivors include her husband, G. Elbridge Boswell of the home; niece, Jean C. and her husband, Vernon Garrison of Burlington; Nephews, Ervin and his wife, Florence King of Burlington and Bill and his wife, Mary King of Melbourne, Florida; eight great nieces and nephews and twelve great-great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister, Eva P. King; nephew, Robert King. The funeral services will be on Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Marvin Simpson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. Other times the family will be at the residence.
