    GIBSONVILLE — Oretha Hobgood Isley, 82, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010, at the Hospice Home.
    Mrs. Isley was born December 6, 1927 in Oxford, N.C. to the late John and Madaline Connell Hobgood and was the wife of the late Charlie Wesley Isley.
    Oretha retired after 30 years of service from textiles and from her and her husband’s business, Isley Fuel Service. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Sunday school and the Ladies Fellowship.
    Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Haith and her husband David Jr. of Mebane,andLynnMcGeeandher husband Jerry of Snow Camp; a son, Randy J. Isley and his wife Bonnie of Orlando, Fla.; fivegrandchildren,WesleyMc-Gee, Jay Isley, Kristi Northcott, Phillip Isley, and Sara Smith; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Ella Gray Mayse of Chapel Hill.
    Mrs. Isley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her two brothers, Bill Hobgood and John Frank Hobgood.
    A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Delton Agnor. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
    The family will receive friendsfrom6until8p.m.Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at their homes.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
