    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Jean Walker Sadler Primm, 80, of 955
Stoney Creek Church Road, Burlington, died Tuesday, November 19, 2002, at Duke University Medical Center.
    Mrs. Primm was born April 24, 1922, in Alamance County, to the late Blanche Burton Walker and the late Rosser Loy Walker. She was wife of the late Samuel B. Sadler and Algernon M. Primm Sr., who survives. Mrs. Primm graduated from Altamahaw Ossipee School and attended UNC-G and Elon College. She was school secretary for 43 years at Altamahaw Ossipee and Western High School. She was a lifelong member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church — longest living membership (since 1933). She was a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, Former President of the Women of the Church, Elder, and member of Salem Presbytery HungerCommittee. Mrs. Primm was a former member and President of Beta Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association, member of the Board of Directors of Alamance Executive Club, a member of Altamahaw Ossipee Civitan Club and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of Alamance-Burlington Retired School Personnel, and a participant in Alamance Health Service Heart Track. Mrs. Primm was awarded Life Membership in Presbyterian Women in May of 2002 and was chosen as one of eight Outstanding Elder Citizens in Salem Presbytery in October of 2002.
    Mrs. Primm is survived by her husband, Algernon M. Primm Sr. of the home; daughters, Peggy Sadler Vaughn and husband Lee Vaughn, Patricia Sadler Williams and husband Leland Williams, Janice Sadler Shepherd and husband John Shepherd, all of Burlington; stepchildren, Caroline Primm Baker of Bermuda Run, N.C. and A. Mark Primm Jr. of Mebane; sister, Nancy Walker Kistler of Mebane; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
    The funeral will be held Thursday, November 21 st at 11 o’clock in the morning at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church, conducted by Rev. Rick Wurst.
    The visitation will be held at Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 5 o’clock in the evening until 7 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, November 20 th, and at other times at the home at 955 Stoney Creek Church Road. The casket will be placed in the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
