BURLINGTON — Nancy Patricia “Pat” Sadler Williams, 70, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family.
She was born, in Alamance County, on Dec. 14, 1945 to the late Samuel Burgess Sadler and Jean Grey Walker Sadler Primm and was married to the late Leland Kenneth Williams, who died in 2014.
Pat retired from Carolina Biological Supply and was a member of Stony Creek Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jesse Gwynn; grandchildren, Sierra Williams, Sadler Gwynn and Catherine Gwynn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Lee Vaughn, Janice and John Shepherd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special son, Todd Wrenn and wife Tina.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leland Samuel Williams and an infant son; her husband; and her parents.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016, at Stony Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Dan Ficklin and the Rev. Randolph Wellford with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the daughters’ home.
Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Williams family.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields and to the caregivers, Cassie Elliott, Tina Wrenn, Scott Janssen and the Hospice Home staff for their loving care and compassion that was shown to Pat during her illness.
