Louise Mansfield Kellis

BURLINGTON – Louise Mansfield Kellis, 88, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Alamance County on May 8, 1929 to the late Carl Eugene and Ethel Beckom Mansfield.

Louise retired from Glen Raven Mills after 44 years working in the executive office. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always thinking of others first. Louise was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include her sons, Barry Kellis, Sr. and David Kellis (Mary); grandchildren, Sabrina Kellis, Tabatha Perkins, Tiffany Collins (Randy), Barry Kellis, Jr. (Brandi); greatgrandchildren, Avery, Kaleb, Harley, Savannah, Samuel, Landon, Cassidy, Russ; great-great-grandchild, Rylan; brother, Lloyd Mansfield (Doris); sister, Hilda Duckworth (Ted); special nieces and nephews, Gurnie (Kathy), Rickie (Wanda), Randy, Vickie Duckworth, Kathie Patterson and Garry (Cheryl) and Doug Mansfield and very dear friend, Barbara Perry.
A service to celebrate her life will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Carl Belcher with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the granddaughter, Tiffany’s home.
