BURLINGTON — Ethel Beckom Mansfield, 92, of 2832 Mansfield Rd. died Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a one month illness.
She was the wife of the late Carl E. Mansfield and the daughter of the late John and Ida Whitesell Beckom. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class.
Survivors include her daughters; Louise Kellis of Burlington, Hilda Duckworth and her husband Ted of Burlington, son; Lloyd Mansfield and his wife Doris of Burlington, sisters; Annie Lee Madren and Dorothy Smith both of Burlington, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Bethel United Methodist Church by Rev. Renee Burnett. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. this evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. and at other times at the home. 3, Ethel Beckom Mansfield
