BROWN SUMMIT — Reba Leo Goodman Brown , 93, of 345 Brann Road, died on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2006, after six months of declining health. She was born in Iredell County, daughter of the late Azor Charles and Denia Meyers Goodman and was married to the late Everette Joe Brown .
She was a homemaker and a member of Osceola Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joretta and Wesley Johnson of Burlington; son, Jimmie Lee Brown of Brown Summit; grandchildren, Randy Brown , John Brown , Ian Brown , Hope Hicks, Sherry Miller and Jan Strout and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, Doris Clark and brothers, Clark, Blake and Blaine Goodman .
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Walter Jones.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the daughter’s home, 2610 White Oak Drive, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
