HAW RIVER — June Danieley Miller, age 67, of 810 Sherri Drive, went home to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, and the love of her life, Bill Miller, to whom she was married for 42 years, on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Hospice Home.
June was the kind of person who was loved by many and made lifelong friends wherever she went. This was reflected in the outpouring of love from her Haw River/ Eastern Alamance schoolmates, her Sunday school class, co-workers, and other friends. She was born July 21st, 1945 in Alamance County. She and Bill were in the first graduating class at Eastern Alamance and were married two years later in 1965. She will be greatly missed and her personality will live on in our memories. She was a longtime member of Lambs Chapel (formerly Haw River Christian).
Mrs. Miller is survived by her sons Bill Miller and his wife, Lori, of Burlington and John Miller of Haw River; stepbrothers, James (Faye) Rich and Gary (Nancy) Rich; four grandchildren, Charlie, Anna, Tommy and Stephanie; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, June and Elizabeth Danieley; a stepfather, Roy Rich; and a brother, Dickey Danieley.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at The Lamb’s Chapel by the Rev. Jim Rosser. Interment will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
In honor of the great care they gave both June and Bill, please make all memorials to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
