Willie F. "Bill" Miller Jr.
HAW RIVER — Willie F. "Bill" Miller Jr., 62, of 810 Sherri Drive, died at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at the Hospice Home following an illness of two weeks.
A native of Rowan County, he was the husband of June Danieley, who survives, and the son of the late Willie Floyd Miller Sr. and Myrtle Sykes Miller Webster. He worked as the purchasing director with AMI and was a member of Haw River Christian Church. He served on the Haw River Town Council since 1994, and was presently Mayor Pro-Tem. He was also a member of Bingham Masonic Lodge in Mebane, where he served as Past Master.
Survivors other than his wife of the home include two sons, Bill Miller and wife, Lori, of Burlington and John Miller and wife, Diane, of Damascus, Arkansas; grandchildren, Thomas P. Foulillen, Stephanie A. Miller , B. Charles Miller , and Anna E. Miller ; and a sister, Sue M. Dickey of Stoney Creek, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jesse David Webster; and a brother, Charles Miller .
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, at Haw River Christian Church by the Rev. Brian Biggers, and the Rev. James L. Rosser. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
Visitation will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, and at other times at the residence, 810 Sherri Drive, Haw River.
