Arnold Huffines, 75, died March 25, 2011, at the Hamrick Home.
He was born in Burlington, N.C., and lived in Okeechobee for 42 years.
He was employed by McArthur Farms and retained membership at Cornerstone Baptist Church and Trinity Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mary; son, Danny Huffines of Burlington; daughter, Maria Riley of Elon, N.C.; sisters, Helen Hensley of Elon, and Frances Stutts, Doris Ward, Ann Brown and LaLa Dameron, all of Burlington; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie Huffines, Jr. and Billie J. Huffines.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, P.O. Box 1548, Okeechobee, FL 34973. Services: Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. March 28 at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, Okeechobee, with a service at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
