JoAnne Huffines Rudd
BURLINGTON — JoAnne Huffines Rudd, 60, passed away Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, at her home after a six-month battle with lung cancer.
She was the daughter of the late Willie and Eula Mae Jones Huffines and was married for 40 years to Jerry
W. Rudd, who survives. She loved bowling and traveling.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of the home; children, Angela (Steve) Johnson of Haw River, Bryan Rudd of Cary and Jason Rudd of Burlington; grandchildren, Nathan Crisson, Emily Crisson, Garrett Rudd, Janine Rudd and Thorin Rudd; and sisters, Kathy Lee, Peggy Brooks, Alice Huffines, Willie Mae Oldham, Robin Brantley and Tammy Coble.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Linda Clark.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Baker with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Friday evening at the funeral home and at other times at the residence.
