BURLINGTON — Edna Louise Dameron , 91, of 1605-D Morningside Drive, died Wednesday, August, 23, 2006, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of the late Jesse Dameron , and the daughter of the late Joseph and Mamie Swinney Foust. She was retired from Kayser-Roth Hosiery, and was a member of Trollingwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Kenneth Lee Dameron and Aubren Dameron , both of Mobile, Ala., Ray Dameron (Lala) of Burlington, and Harold Dameron (Debbie) of Ft. Worth, Texas; two daughters, Glenda Greeson (Ed) of Mebane and Judy Walsh (John) of Monroe; a sister, Charlotte O’Nell of Greensboro; 14 grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Laban.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon on Saturday at Pine Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Mofield.
The family will receive friends at the residence of Ray Dameron , 3155 Huffines Drive, Burlington or Glenda Greeson, 408 E. Graham St., Mebane.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels of Alamance County, 508 W. Davis St., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
McClure Funeral Service in Graham is in charge of arrangements.
