LAURENCE SUTTON
Laurence Sutton, 53, Glen Raven, died at 8:30 o'clock this morning at a local hospital after 18 months of illness. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Sutton. He was a member of the Elon Council Junior Order and W. O. W. Hub council.
Surviving are his wife and four children, Atress, George, of West Virginia, Mrs. Paul Hedgepeth and Mrs. Ola O'Briant, both of Greensboro, five grandchildren, three brothers, James, Glen raven, Thomas, Gibsonville, Robert, Greensboro, a half brother, John Sutton, city, a sister, Mrs. Dan Michael and a half sister, Mrs. Lydia Apple, both of city.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Bethlehem Church by the Rev. J. P. Pegg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Funeral services for Laurence Sutton, 53, Glen Raven, who died Tuesday morning at 8:20 o'clock at a local hospital after 18 months illness, were conducted at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Bethlehem church by the Rev. J. P. Pegg, assisted by Rev. J. C. Crutchfield. Music was rendered by the church choir. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were members of the Elon Council Junior Order.
The flowers were in charge of Mrs. Abner Conklin, assisted by Misses Dorothy Sutton, Mabel Tucker, Beulah Tickle, Dewey Sutton, Beatrice Williams, Desma Wagner, Mesdames Otis Conklin, Lawrence Boone, Mack Welch, Dale Tony, and David Moore.
