BURLINGTON — Tina Marie “Sissy” Poole, 61, passed away Friday, September 19, 2014 at Penn Nursing Center after 6 months of failing health. She was born in Alamance County to the late Robert William “Bob” Poole, Sr. and Inez Mae Yarbrough Poole who survives.
Tina was a former employee with JR Discount Outlet in Burlington and was a member of Come as You Are Church and a former Sunday School Teacher. Tina was a loving and giving person to everyone. Tina loved her family, especially her nieces, great nephews and great niece; she loved God and her church family.
Survivors other than her mother, Inez Poole include her brother, David Lynn Poole; sister, Lisa Poole King; special nieces, Jaimie Hopkins Albright and Christine Poole Duncan; two special great nephews and one special great niece.
She was preceded in death by her father, brother, Robert William “Bobby” Poole, Jr. and nephew, Terry Wayne Hopkins.
